Dear World Economic Forum!Together with the Global Law Forum
http://maxlaw.tilda.ws/, we formed a networked community and studied the impact of the digital phase of global processes (4.0) on human rights in the context of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals and identified new global challenges - increasing inequality, digital militarization, the use of new technologies for human rights violations, challenges to artificial intelligence, etc.
Within the framework of the Global Digital Human Rights for 4IR project, initiated by Global Shapers Community Moscow (Project team: Maksim Burianov, Alla Dynko, Annman Kantsyan, Slava Mirowski, Olga Pavlushkova, Anastasiia Natrova)
also in partnership with the Global Law Forum, a toolkit was developed to analyze and assess the need for legal enforcement of digital rights around the world. With the participation of Global Shapers Community from around the world, a survey was conducted
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1W5OR2aAf6EiErELDk8_liwm76xJioTeRXbdb6xBS1p4, which identified the need to develop, adopt and implement the Declaration of Global Digital Human Rights as an important tool in countering global digital human rights. The survey showed that 98% of respondents from various regions of the world (Australia, Argentina, Brunei, Brazil, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Cameroon, Mexico, Mali, Russia, Switzerland, USA, etc.) believe that the adoption and implementation of the Declaration of Global Digital human rights law can create conditions for a person-centered direction of 4IR development and overcoming global threats (digital inequality, digital wars, digital dictatorships, etc.).
In addition, we are actively involved in promoting the idea of new global digital human rights at scientific conferences and youth forums, involving stakeholders in solving these issues, incl. via the Internet Communities:
http://maxlaw.tilda.ws/digitalrights_globalshapersFurther, in the development of the project, with the participation of Global Shapers Community, an initiative by the World Economic Forum, lawyer Maksim Burianov developed a draft Declaration of Global Digital Human Rights, where Annman Kantysan was the editor:
http://maxlaw.tilda.ws/declaration_of_global_digital_human_rights.
We also published an article in support of the Declaration of Global Digital Human Rights, explaining why urgent action is needed to create and implement it, on The Agenda of the WEF:
https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/08/here-s-why-we-need-a-declaration-of-global-digital-human-rights .
We appeal to the WEF leadership with a request to include the discussion of the global challenges of digitalization and the draft Declaration of Global Digital Human Rights in the agenda of WEF events, including the Davos Forum 2021 "The Great Reset", in order to further, on behalf of the WEF, appeal to the UN and states for further consideration, discussion, development, adoption and the implementation of the said declaration.
